Personal Consultations with David Brown

Personal Magnetism

As human beings we possess an unlimited resource of power within us—which remains under-used, almost dormant—in most people’s lives. As a result, millions of men and women suffer from chronic low self-worth and low self-confidence, under-achieve in their careers and relationships and generally live an unfulfilled life.

Everybody can develop the invisible, but powerful, force of personal magnetism. Over the past fifty years, I have extensively studied and practised a proven step-by-step method of developing personal magnetism. When you practice this method, you will not only overcome your low self confidence, worry, anxieties and fears, but will also discover how to influence others to help you to fulfill your personal wishes and ambitions.

David accepts a limited number of personal clients who wish to learn, practice and develop personal magnetism to achieve a life of fulfillment and satisfaction in their career and relationships. You can now arrange a free 30-minute telephone consultation with David if you wish to know whether this method of gaining your self-confidence through the development of personal magnetism is appropriate in your case.

Transforming Feelings and Mastering the Mind

William James, the first American psychologist, wrote these words: “. . . most people live in a very restricted circle of their potential being. They make use of a very small portion of their possible consciousness . . . We all have oceans of life to draw upon, of which we hardly dream.”

It was out of his work that the psychological approach known as TRANSPERSONAL THERAPY grew. The word TRANSPERSONAL means “beyond the personal” and Transpersonal Therapy helps people to develop a healthy sense of self—of who we really are; to go beyond the limitations imposed by personal conditioning, and to discover our full potential—by connecting with the Real Self—as distinct from the small, separated, limited, individual sense of self that we’ve come to believe that we are.

Many people have deep-seated needs and unresolved issues, but today’s emotional and psychological pandemic is FEAR. Almost all of humanity’s suffering today has it’s roots in FEAR.

  • Fear of loss
  • Fear of intimacy
  • Fear of failure
  • Fear of Sex
  • Fear of Love
  • Fear of death;
  • Fear of Life.

You can’t transform your life simply by changing your external circumstances, and you can’t undo the past. What can be done, however, is to help you to raise, or expand, your consciousness in such a way that the past doesn’t define who you really are, or how you live your life now. It’s commonly thought that, as human beings, we possess five senses: the faculties of sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell. But there are further faculties, or senses, that we have but are either dormant or undeveloped in most people: Intuition, Imagination, Perception, Concentration, and Will. It really is possible to attract new circumstances; but to do so, you simply need to change your mind. To quote William James once more; he said: “The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes.”

I call Transpersonal Therapy the Sixth Wave of psychology—one that is suited to the current, modern Western culture. The first wave was psychoanalysis, or Freudism; the second, behaviourism; the third humanistic; the fourth wave, cognitive behavioural therapy, or CBT; the fifth wave, psychotherapy. The “Sixth Wave”—Transpersonal Psychology—is the meeting place between psychology and spirituality: the psychology of consciousness. This approach doesn’t seek to discover and analyse the history of the problem and manage the effects: Transpersonal Therapy aims for total transformation. It isn’t concerned simply with managing the mind and emotions, but in mastering them.

Unlike the first five waves of therapy, where a client is diagnosed with a problem that needs “fixing,” transpersonal therapy begins from the premise that there is ultimately nothing wrong with you at the core of your being. My speciality is as a transpersonal sexual therapist. I work with individuals or couples, helping men and women of all backgrounds, cultures, faiths and none; to overcome fear of intimacy and past negative conditioning and to prove to yourself that there is nothing wrong with you.
